This course introduces the processes that you will encounter in connection with LCA calculations on construction with Real-Time LCA (RTLCA). For you to work with building LCA processes iteratively from the early design phases to final documentation.

The course assumes basic knowledge of building LCA, Revit and EPDs and starts with the creation of a project in RTLCA, to which structures are transferred from Revit.

In the project, we test best practices for all the central LCA processes, from quantity extraction to mapping with environmental data, as well as analysis, communication, and QA of results.

The course is a combination of theoretical review and practical exercises. During the course, course material will be handed out to support the teaching and for subsequent use after the course has ended.

The purpose of this course is to introduce the user to RTLCA and enable them to work independently in the platform.
