Robot Structural Analysis Concrete and Steel Design - Online
This course is intended for people with fundamental experience in Robot Structural Analysis who want to utilise the design modules for reinforced concrete and structural steel that is included in the program.
Concrete Design
We practice basic modelling of reinforced concrete structures. We explore how these can be used to design concrete beams, slabs and shell elements.
Steel Design
We look at the more advanced modelling and load handling relevant to steel design. We explore the steel design module and see how it can be used for verification and design of steel elements as well as verification of structural steel connections. We'll review the parameter sets that are available, including how we can adapt them to local requirements.
The course is a combination of theoretical review and practical exercises. Course material will be provided during the course to support the teaching and for use after the course has ended.
Objective
After the course, participants will be able to use Robot Structural Analysis for the design, analysis and documentation of structures made of reinforced concrete and structural steel.
Conditions
This online course takes place live. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and participate with hands-on exercises. About a week before the start of the course, you will receive an email with a link to participate.
To participate in online courses, we recommend that you have a PC with two monitors to get the full benefit and headset with microphone. Before the course itself, make sure your speakers/headphones are working.
Language
The Course is taught in English, the course material is also in English.
Duration
1 day.
On the course there will be, among other things be taught:
- Design and modelling of reinforced concrete structures
- Design and modelling of steel structures
